Jurisdiction The Residential Judicial Council (RJC) falls under the auspices of the Office of Residence Life and hears cases involving students who reside within University-owned residence halls. The RJC hears Category "A" violations; additionally, the RJC hears most cases for which the Respondent has accepted responsibility for engaging in behaviors or actions that may constitute a Category "B" violation. Certain Category "B" violations will be resolved through the Office of Student Conduct. Most sanctions are available to the RJC, except for those sanctions which would separate the student from the University. |
